The Team at Kite Lounge is always full of fun and assistance. It doesn't matter if the wind takes a break. They'll still hang out doing fun and crazy things to fill the days in the Caribbean paradise.
When the wind kicks in, the beach is busy with lessons on how to manage this incredible sport. If you already know how to stay on the board with the kite in the air, these guys can easily teach tricks or waveriding on an advanced level as well.

The School Manager Sven:
Sven Vandierendonck is the Belgian guy with a name we can not pronounce. Sven is as nice as they come. He knows exactly what to do in any situation, it doesn't matter what the question or the problem is. You either find Sven behind his desk in the school or you find him rippin some waves on the reef or flying high across the bay. Sven speaks a whole lot of languages and can communicate with more or less anyone. Dutch, English, Spanish, French plus plus… And he's been in the DR for more than 4 years and can help out with practical tips if needed too.

 

Instructor and Security Detail, Valterri

Val is rock solid.  After finishing his military service in the Finnish Special Forces, Val decided that relaxation and some kitesurfing was necessary.  He loves the beach, surf, his new moto and learning Spanish.   A smooth man with the ladies, the nightlife gets better the moment he arrives.

 

 Instructor and Public Relations, Rudi

Hotcakes was born for the benefit of the women of this world.  Shy, smooth and an true Gentlemen.  He was born in South Africa, and raised in western Canada.   Look for him on the reef with his skim board, the only one in town.  He is always the first one on the reef, and the last one off.  Sponsored by mom and dad, he is making the most of hie year away from University.
